Dr. Zhui Chen is a seasoned biologist and drug hunter with more than 15 years of drug discovery and development experience from multi-national biopharmaceutical companies. He has led or participated in dozens of innovative programs spanning early discovery to translational research and clinical development. Prior to co-founding Abbisko Therapeutics, Dr. Chen led oncology discovery at Johnson & Johnson China R&D Center. Prior to that, he worked at Novartis and Abbott.

Dr. Chen started his undergraduate study at Peking University and obtained a B.S. degree in Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from Duke University and then conducted his postdoctoral research at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
